Join Sacred Heart of Jesus Diocesan Shrine in Bowmansville, NY as we embark on a special evening pilgrimage focusing on healing for the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto at our Shrine - a healing of mind, healing of body and healing of soul.
Many desire it, but are unable to travel to Lourdes, France, to experience what Lourdes is all about - Our Lady’s appearances, St. Bernadette, the healing spring waters, the rocks of Lourdes, the processions. So, the Shrine will be bringing Lourdes, France, to you, right here in Bowmansville, NY. With a full focus on your healing in a beautiful, peaceful, outdoor consecrated Shrine and gardens, we invite you to join us as we:
• Host the Lourdes Virtual Pilgrimage Team of Volunteers to share the history and story of Our Lady’s Apparitions in Lourdes, France.
• Offer you the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
• Offer you the Sacrament of Reconciliation. • Offer you the opportunity to adore Jesus, The One True Healer, in the Blessed Sacrament.
• Offer you Spring Waters direct from Lourdes in a special water feature ceremony of one-to-one healing in our 100-Year-old outdoor grotto.
• Offer you the healing associated with touching/holding the actual rocks from the Lourdes Grotto in France that Our Lady appeared on.
• Participate in praying the Holy Rosary as we process with the Blessed Sacrament on our beautiful grounds with candles and the same French paper cups that they use in Lourdes at their processions!
If you are in need of any type of healing, we invite you to come - Our Lady and Jesus are here for you. We will have a dedicated team of volunteers who will provide on-site assistance in moving about the Shrine for individuals with mobility limitations, walkers or wheelchairs, so everyone visiting will be able to fully participate in all the healings offered.
Although this event is free for all, we will be collecting a good will offering for the mission of the Lourdes Volunteer Programs.
