Saint Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church

On Friday, August 8^th, teens from the Together in Christ Family joined together for a special outdoor Mass with Fr. Peter. Before Mass, they gathered for a discussion on the importance of the Eucharist and the opportunity to bake the bread that was offered at Mass. Using an approved recipe, and gaining some culinary skills along the way, teens enjoyed preparing the hosts and serving as sacristans, greeters, and lectors at the Mass. As we celebrated the feast of St. Dominic, Father Peter reminded us of the importance of spreading God's word, appreciating all the gifts He gives us, and always striving to be saints. It was a wonderful evening!
