On the First Saturday of each month, a selection of Holy Saints' Relics from Sacred Heart's collection of ninety-eight relics are offered for public veneration.
Visit Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and Diocesan Shrine, 5337 Genesee St., Bowmansville on Saturday, March 7, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM to venerate the relics of St. Longinus, St. Patrick, St. Joseph’s Mantle and a piece of the Veil of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
There is also an 8:00 AM Mass before veneration; attending Mass on the First Saturday fulfills one of the requests of the Blessed Virgin Mary in devotion of her Immaculate Heart.
This would be a great spiritual activity for families!
