We're celebrating the SMS #Classof2024 all summer long! 🐝💙🤍🎓 Sammy began attending St. Mary’s in 2020. She has participated on our softball, volleyball, basketball, and track teams, advanced choir, & art, drama & trout clubs. Sammy will be attending Williamsville North High School next year and was a recipient of the President's Award for Academic Achievement. We're celebrating the SMS #Classof2024 all summer long! 🐝💙🤍🎓 Colton joined St. Mary School in 5th grade. He participated on our bowling team and was in the drama club, art club & advanced choir. Colton received the "Showstopper Award" for his comedic roles as Lurch in the Addam’s Family and Chef Louie in The Little Mermaid Jr. at graduation. He was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society and is on the High Honor Roll. Colton will be attending Starpoint High School in the fall. We're celebrating the SMS #Classof2024 all summer long! 🐝💙🤍🎓 Billy has been attending SMS since 4th grade. He is a member of our baseball and basketball teams and was chosen to represent St. Mary’s in the Diocesan All Star Baseball game this year played at Sahlen Field. He will be attending St. Mary’s High School this fall where he received a full scholarship for sports. Some of his fondest memories at SMS include winning the Varsity Boys Basketball division this year to earn a school banner with the SMS team, & playing baseball for Elmwood Franklin School while representing SMS and meeting new friends. She has been a member of the art, drama, science & trout clubs, & the swim, track, basketball, soccer & bowling teams. She also represented St. Mary’s in the Diocesan Golf Tournament & has participated as as an altar server & lector. Amelia is a member of the National Junior Honor Society & received the Principal's Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship, & Fine Arts Scholarship from Nardin Academy where she will be attending High School in the fall. Some of her fondest memories of SMS include the class having to take a spelling test with fake words after putting plastic spiders on a teacher's desk, & countless games of four square, soccer & other sports during recess. She has been on our swimming, track, soccer, basketball, & volleyball teams, as well as in the art & drama clubs, & has participated as an altar server & in band. Abigail is a member of the National Junior Honor Society & was on the school math team. Abigail has chosen to attend Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart where she received the St. Francis Scholarship & the Faculty and Staff Scholarship. She also received a scholarship for receiving the second highest score on the Catholic High School Entrance Exam! From St. Mary's Parish Office: St. Mary's campus will be closed Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5, except for 9 AM Mass in the church. Therefore, First Friday Adoration on 7/5 has been canceled.

For the final day of our #STREAM Rainforest Camp, campers took inspiration from the rubber trees in the Amazon rainforest and made "rubber" with Mrs. Witkowski, then went on a #rainforest webquest! Thank you to our amazing teachers who made this #camp so fun & educational!

The nature & insects Montessori summer adventures camp was great fun! Campers spent their last day enjoying popsicles, and having some fun with water and chalk. ⛅️💦🐞🐛🕷️

Courtney Riel, SMS class of '22, just completed her sophomore year at Sacred Heart Academy. She is an active member of HOSA Future Health Professionals, which is an international career and technical student organization that focuses on promoting career opportunities in the health care industry. In March Courtney traveled to Syracuse & participated at the state level for Sports Medicine. She placed 2nd & earned a spot to compete in Sports Medicine events at the international level taking place this week in Houston, Texas! There are about 10,000 participants at the international level, some coming as far away as Korea. Good luck Courtney, we know you will do great! #buzzworthy #SMSalumni #sportsmedicine #HOSA

For the 2nd day of #STREAM Rainforest Camp, our students made banana bread & origami frogs, learned about Henri Rousseau, and took on a #LEGO rainforest animal building challenge!

Our campers were busy today! ⛺️#Montessori Adventurers spent time outdoors, learned about spiders 🕷️& enjoyed popsicles, while our #STREAM campers painted the snakes 🐍 they made yesterday and got busy with math in the kitchen baking banana muffins! 🍌

Rising grade 3-6 students were busy learning in our #STREAM Rainforest Summer Camp today. They built the tallest trees out of building blocks, made fruit & pretzel trees for snack, and "snakes" in art class, all the while learning about the layers of the #rainforest. 🌴🦥🦋
